IHF Men’s Trophy in Kutaisi, Day 4

On IHF Trophy which take place in Kutaisi, Moldova and Kosovo reached the final. Moldova defeats Georgia 33-24, Kosovo beat Britain 32-22.

Moldova started with 5-1 defence and took 5-1 lead on 6th minute, after this they personally catched up rival’s leader Teimuraz Orjonikidze, because of this Georgian’s game was collapsed. Moldova won half by 18-10. Georgia made 5 ball difference, but that was their best and finally they lost the game 24-33. Roman Dodica (RB, 9 goals), Adrian Bodrug (P, 6) and Dinu Untu (LB, 6) with outstanding performance helped Moldova to win.

Result of second Semifinal game has knowned in the first half, while Kosovo leads 10-1 on 15th minute against Great Britain. Britain’s was fighting untill the end, but Kosovo was better 32-22. They were outstanding from Kosovo – Haris Berisha (GK), Luigj Quni (P, 7 goals) and Jon Muqolli (LB, 6).

In 5th Place game Malta defeat Armenia 27-19. 7th Place got Albania.
